Welcome to Zylan Compliance. By using our service, you agree to these terms.
1. Nature of the Service (Decision-Support Tool)
Zylan Compliance is strictly a decision-support tool. The compliance reports, analysis, and recommendations provided by our service are generated by Artificial Intelligence based on public regulatory databases. They do NOT constitute legal, financial, or professional customs brokerage advice.
You acknowledge that AI can make mistakes or hallucinate information. You are solely responsible for independently verifying any regulatory requirements with a licensed customs broker or trade compliance attorney before making binding business decisions or importing/exporting goods.
2. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Zylan Compliance and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation: loss of profits, goods held at customs, fines, penalties, or business interruption resulting from your use of the service. In no event shall our total liability exceed the total amount paid by you for the service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
3. Compliance with EU AI Act
In accordance with the EU AI Act, you are hereby notified that you are interacting with an Artificial Intelligence system. Zylan Compliance operates as a limited-risk AI system intended for information retrieval and summarization.
4. Acceptable Use
You may not use the service to generate malicious content, evade legal duties, or reverse-engineer the proprietary retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architecture.

1. Data Collection
We collect your email address for account authentication and your product queries to generate compliance reports. We process payments via Stripe, and we do not store your raw credit card information.
2. Data Usage & AI Training
We do NOT use your specific tenant product queries to train our foundational models. Your queries are processed ephemerally using Google Cloud's Vertex AI. However, your queries may be stored securely for 30 days in our logs for debugging, quality assurance, and rate-limit enforcement.
3. Data Residency
The regulatory corpus is stored in the europe-west4 (Netherlands) region to comply with standard EU data localization requirements. Inference may occur in multi-region environments depending on Google Cloud infrastructure routing.
4. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)
You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. You may delete your account and associated query logs at any time by contacting our support team.
